Role Overview
We’re hiring a high-performing native or near-native English teacher for a fast-moving online English program. This is not a plug-and-play teaching role. You’re expected to stay curious, adapt quickly, perform consistently in a high-expectation environment and actively improve how we teach. This role suits someone who is independent, handles pressure well and enjoys building and refining lessons in situations where ready-made materials don’t exist.

Deliver high-impact online English lessons aligned to our curriculum and learning outcomes
Confidently manage large (50+), mixed-level groups of teenage learners in live online classes
Design, adapt, and improve lessons and materials on an ongoing basis
Use EdTech and digital tools to drive engagement, differentiation, and participation
Collaborate with the wider team to refine curriculum, delivery methods, and learning journeys
Must-Have Requirements
Recognised teaching qualification (BA/MA, TESOL, CELTA or equivalent)
5+ years ESL teaching experience
Proven experience teaching teenagers
Available Sunday to Thursday, 9:00–14:00 (GMT +3) with the ability to commit to a fixed weekly workload (e.g. 20–30 hours per week).
Experience teaching online groups of 5+ students
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Confident use of educational technology
Meets local cultural requirements for teaching single-gender classes (same gender as assigned student group)
Highly Advantageous
Familiarity with Middle Eastern culture
Familiarity with AI tools or emerging EdTech
Arabic language ability
What We’re Really Looking For
Highly flexible and adaptable
Independent and proactive
Innovative and curious about better ways to teach
Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership
Performs well under pressure
Exceptionally organised
Who This Role Is (and Isn’t) For
Ideal for: Teachers who want a challenge, enjoy experimentation, and are motivated by building something new
Not for: Teachers who rely on fixed lesson plans, rigid methods, or cookie-cutter delivery
If you’re excited by dynamic environments and unique teaching models, this role is for you.

About Noon Academy
Noon Academy is the leading edtech platform in the Middle East, with over 14 million students and teachers using our app to learn, teach, and collaborate. We have recently raised $41 million in Series B funding to expand our reach and impact in the region and beyond. We are on a mission to transform the physical classroom experience by introducing our highly engaging social, group-based learning and AI to make learning fun and improve learning efficacy. Our ultimate goal is to provide access to the best teachers to every student even if that teacher is only available virtually. We believe we can do this if we blend AI, peer-to-peer learning, and a carefully designed physical space.
