Primary Teacher - Accelerated Learning Program (ALP)
We are looking to hire a passionate and committed teacher to remotely deliver the Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) curriculum for primary-aged out-of-school children (OOSC).
Our physical learning centers are dedicated to enrolling and teaching out-of-school children (OOSC), with lessons delivered remotely and facilitated on-site by local on-ground facilitators. This role involves planning and delivering engaging, relevant lesson plans while working closely with on-ground facilitators to ensure seamless and impactful lesson delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree and prior teaching experience. Experience of teaching primary-aged children and particularly, experience of teaching disadvantaged primary-aged children will be an advantage.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about education and eager to make a meaningful difference. This remote role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills to ensure lesson plans are effectively delivered and executed on the ground. The ideal candidate should be empathetic and able to connect with students from underprivileged backgrounds. Occasional on-site travel may be required for coordination, support, and building direct connections with students or for teacher training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, relevant lesson plans aligned with the Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) curriculum for primary-aged students, leveraging a combination of tech-based and non-tech tools with the support of on-ground facilitators
Deliver interactive lectures, conduct assessments, and facilitate group activities that boost student participation and enhance learning outcomes
Design, curate, and implement regular assessments to evaluate student competencies and track progress
Create and execute engaging group or individual activities to build collaboration, enhance critical thinking, reinforce key learning outcomes, and develop an engaging learning environment
Monitor student progress and attendance, provide regular feedback to students and parents, and tailor support to help manage student performance throughout the course
Experiment with creative and innovative teaching approaches to optimize student performance and experience, while continuously upskilling through research and professional development to stay current with modern teaching techniques
Learn and adapt to the technical aspects of Noon’s platform, actively identifying and contributing to improvements that enhance learning experiences
Collaborate closely with on-ground facilitators to ensure seamless lesson execution and maintain high levels of student engagement
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Education or a related field is preferred
At least 3 years of teaching experience
Experience of teaching primary-aged children or underprivileged children will be an advantage
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Strong ability to coordinate and work with on-ground facilitators to ensure educational objectives are met
Proficient in using online teaching tools and comfortable teaching in a digital environment
